Raw Data Worksheet
The Raw Data worksheet holds only the raw data and a
linked cell displaying the overall mean of the data. The sheet is left deliberately uncluttered, with the data
collection plan being common to both the R&R and W-L approaches.
The layout we have chosen is to have the parts arranged vertically, and
the operators arranged horizontally (similar to Barrentine’s layout).
Note: If you
are copying and pasting the data from another worksheet or application remember
to use Paste Special Values if you
want to preserve the formatting of the cells.
Note also that the terminology used here (Operator, Test)
is different to that in the AIAG manual (Appraiser, Trial).
This can be changed easily using the Preferences option.
